The Hotel's location is ideal. The standard room is huge, quaint and very clean. I thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the bed, as the sheets were freshnand had a lovely clean smell. If you're a morning person you'll find coffee and donuts in the lobby. My only regret is not staying more days and using their pool and tennis court. However, if you're a very light sleeper you might find it hard to doze off, since it's a central hotel, the street it is on is always busy. Although I wouldn't recommend Mexico to a light sleeper altogether, ha!
Plenty of free parking. There is a terrific church nondenominational Sunday mass on the second floor. Great views of the Disneyesque manicured lawns from the top floor.
Amazing resort on walking distance from the old town. Comfortable rooms, nice pool and very spacious in town.
Classic Colonial Hotel with beautiful grounds and a very central location. Only stay here if you want the true colonial feel. If you like more touristy, go to the Hyatt!
5 stars for the price and location. We stayed here for a wedding at the instituto just across the street. Most things we wanted to get to were 10-20minutes walk from the hotel. The front courtyard area is absolutely beautiful - I wish they had live entertainment there to experience it more. The pool was clean and hidden away. The rooms were very clean as well! A/C and hot water were great too. It covered all our needs at an affordable price for the area.

A beautiful old converted convent that I have yet to learn it's age. It has beautiful grounds but the rooms are small (logical for a convent) with name religious artifacts (statues paintings, etc.). Breakfast is buffet style and is not included but the price is very reasonable - about $10 USD as of this posting. Also worth noting; there is no after hours food svc here. It's also only a few blocks from the main square; close enough to walk and fast enough so you don't hear noise from the crowds. Highly recommend this place. Q!
